Testimonials
Amazing restaurant in Prague.
As a team of Gurkha Restaurant, I highly recommend Lumbini Restaurant in Prague for its authentic Nepalese cuisine and exceptional service. Their dedication to quality and warm hospitality make every dining experience truly memorable.
One of the best Indian restaurants in prague
The is so delicious. The cheese stuffed naan is out of this world. The menu has some unique items and more typical fare all of which are delicious.
The buffet price is totally worth it if you want a big meal. The interior has lovely atmosphere and quiet but homey/cozy
Amazing value, very relaxing atmosphere. Phenomenal taste.
I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Feels very authentic.
Excellent quality and portions with a great taste.
The tandoori lamb was soft, well spiced and succulent. Will order again to try the other dishes.
Lovely place!
Everytime I was here, there was no waiting time. All you can eat on weekdays is a very good deal too!
The food is delicious, definitely recommended! The atmosphere is very welcoming
Really impressive Nepal restaurant in Prague-Zizkov!
Tastes very well, the chef knows how to use spice, I can recommend any of their dishes!
the service was willing, just little confused today, but it sometimes happened to anyone 🙂
prices are still nice (soup 55, main dish around 170-200, side dish around 60, beer 45)
I was satisfied and I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
Definitely the best!
Definitely the best money to value ratio within Indian – Nepalese – Pakistani restaurants in Prague.
Great, very good food and a midday buffet for CZK 152.
The environment is so authentic, it would probably be good to speak Nepali for negotiation.
Undoubtedly one of the few exceptional enterprises of Koněv's class.
Their lunch menu in the form of a catering table with a set menu for a single price was widely used even before Covid, and there were also diners who could arrange five plates piled high. There are usually six to seven meals, heated containers keep the food warm. Everything in the restaurant is continuously monitored and replenished, mainly side dishes, rice, potatoes, and especially chapati. It doesn’t happen that you “don’t have any pancakes left today”. All in a full menu. Choice of meat dishes from several types of meat. At the same time, you can choose from purely vegetarian dishes. The special spices and subtle flavors and hot spiciness of Nepal are definitely not something you can conjure up at home, and that is a big bonus of the Lumbini restaurant – the authenticity of oriental cuisine. Pleasant, kind staff, with the evening growing up to an Indian social party, when you can hardly believe that you are still in Žižkov. The interior is magical, the separate tables create an intimate atmosphere – if you need it and at the same time it will also suit you when you plan to organize a meeting, lunch or dinner with several friends. Lumbini is one of those places where you will definitely not be disappointed with the selected food that can only be found there. I warmly recommend!
An excellent meal that you don't have to wait
The staff doesn’t speak much Czech, but otherwise they are nice 🙂 There is no need to make a reservation for lunch on the weekend, we have not yet encountered that there was no place. The prices are higher, but the same as other Indian restaurants. I recommend the mango lacy.
